Default Tires

Which tire is good for commuting and last for a while? No snow at all and mostly highway driving. Don't care for performance but must be safe and reliable.

I was thinking about going with Bridgestone, Yoko, Conti, and maybe Pirelli.

+1 for the Michelin Primacy tires. When I had a Town Car, I had a set of Michelin Defender tires and never looked back ....

Pirelli Cinturato P7's are also an excellent choice.

I put on a set of Continental Pure Contact 4 months ago. I put about 30k per year on my car and wanted comfort and tread life over performance. These tires are rated for 70K miles, ride great, look great and were pretty cost effective....about $843 installed. I'd recommend checking them out. Oh...and checking their "ratings" in multiple categories on Tire Rack....they were rated well in all areas.

Not sure with tire life due to camber, but I've liked hankook ventus v12s. I currently have yokohama avids envigor and would not recommend them.

Same tires.... Put 30-40k now and they still look pretty good from my perspective.
