Default Replaced headlights found this

Had some after market bulbs in GS350 that would always turn off at night, I would turn the lights off for a couple seconds and then turn them back on and they would work for a couple minutes and randomly turn off again. Both side but mainly the driver side more often.

Finally got around to buying new bulbs and when replacing them I noticed a considerable amount of corrosion on the driver side more in the piece that plugs in to the back of the bulb not sure what that is called. I really only noticed it because the piece didn't not want to go into the new bulb there was so much build up I had to clear it away with a screw driver and ended up removing some of the rubber that goes around it(ooooppps) but I got it to go back on, both lights are working now, but I feel like the driver side bulb is dimmer. it is day time but I can barely see the light on the fence in front of me while I can clearly see the passenger side light on the fence. Is this a cause for concern? What do I do? Thanks for any help!!!

You can replace the HID ballast. That will give you a new connector.
