Default Autostarters

Debating if I should get the Compustar Slice Jr RF-2W1B-SP for my 06. I checked their website and it says compatible, never owned a autostarter before but I could use one for winter.

1. Will this system affect any OEM car settings I have now? because I don't want to lose any functions and controls, I just need it to start it in the winter time and store it away for the warm months and then bacj to use my Lexus fob. Anyone use this system before or have feedbacks for autostarters in general?

2. I don't need the security, so do I just need the fobs(2W1BR-SP) and the unit(FT-7200S-CONT) ?

Compustar is very nice --- on par or better than Viper/Directed systems. Once vehicle is started - door handle unlock is disabled and oem keyfob is also disabled. Wires must be run into the driver door for lock and unlock @ driver window master switch. Auto-headlights must be turned off via re-arm wire/relay. 3 wires tagged at the brake switch and 3 at the push to start switch.

Slice Jr remotes are as small as they come and will also do lock and unlock --- I recommend them highly.

Blade/ADS AL-CA bypass module required for "take over" function so car doesn't shut off when door is opened (DBALL2 Directed bypass modules shut car off when door is opened). 45 seconds after unlock on aftermarket remote, get in, hit brake, and then able to drive away.
