Default 2008 GS460 Wheel Bearing

Hello,
The wheel bearing (left side) on my 08 GS460 is failing and I need to replace it. The dealer wants $280 each.....I've been looking around and rockauto.com has several aftermarkets options ranging in prices from $48-$250. They have Moog and Timken, which are brands I recognize from owning my 2nd GS. Other than these two brands, not sure if anyone has other suggestions. I would like to get some input before making my purchase. The link to rockauto is shown below. I'm leaning towards getting the Timken set. Thanks.

It's the front (driver's side), but I will be replacing both sides just to get that taken care of. Ibidu, thanks for the advice... I will be making the decision in the next two weeks.

Did you install the new assembly yet? What did you got with and how much? I was reading that the oem hub assembly comes with the abs sensor hence the price?

Not yet as I will be replacing the two front shocks at the same time. If you click on the link I provided above, you will notice that the Timken unit also comes with the abs sensor. Below is one of the features as listed on the rockauto link. I will be going with the Timken unit. I will post an update in the coming weeks.

" Fully serviceable wheel speed sensor (where applicable) is internally mounted and protected from road hazards, debris and potential damage. "

I see. The moog doesn't specify that so I might go with timken for my rear wheel hub assembly. Looks well put together and about 100 bucks cheaper than oem. 12 month warranty doesn't hurt either!

What are the wheel bearing symptoms?

I am getting a noise when I hit bumps... It seems more like ball joint, but no one seems to mention ever replacing those on the 460.

You will hear a humming noise. More "metallic" than a tire hum.
