Default Should I replace the Wheel bearing?

Does this sound like my wheel bearing is starting to go south?

I know some people on here have replaced their wheel bearings without bringing it to a shop.

With this press work to press the old bearing out and the new one in?

I have a $120 gift card to harbor freight and if this will work for what I need it to I will pick it up.

You probably have a bad wheel bearing. Best way to find out is install the rim back on and check for play by grabbing at 12 o clock and 6 o clock and just rock back and forth. If you feel looseness then its bad. Also just by driving it should have a loud whirring noise that goes away if you take a left or right corner at higher speeds. All it is doing is placing a load on the bearing which quiets it down.

I don't think you can press the bearing out from the hub with that. It would be good to press it in but not out. There is a special to separate it similar to this (if the link works).
