Checking to see if anyone has had success or ill effects of using o2 spacers on 2007 gs350.I ask because I have a p0430 code and have replaced bank 2 o2 sensor and am about to replace bank 2 air flow sensor.If that doesn,t work I really don,t want to replace a $1800 cat that might not fix cel.

 

I have them on... I knew my test pipes will throw the light on so I got the 90-degree o2 spacers. Works like a charm. Wish I'd knew this trick back when I had my g35. I paid 2,100 for stock cats. Hope this helps.

I did the same thing when I took my cats out. Never threw a CEL or had a problem.

 

Why do they work? Though further, the sensor is still sealed inside the exhaust?

 

O2 spacer takes the sensor farther out of the exhaust stream so it doesn't see as much oxygen flowing through exhaust.
