Default Did the shop install the rear brake pads on my 2006 GS430 properly?

Hello, everyone. I searched here on the forum and on the internet but couldn't find an answer to my question. I took my 2006 GS430 to an unfamiliar local shop yesterday and had them install new rear brake pads on it. When it was finished, the rear brake pad area just looked different to me. I've included pictures of the left rear and right rear brake pad area. Can anyone with the same car tell me if this looks right? I just want to make sure they didn't forget a shim or plate or anything. I'm probably just being paranoid because it's a new shop to me, but would appreciate any help. I've already learned a lot from reading the forums and will probably just try installing my own brake pads next time using some of the tutorials in here. Thanks.

They're aftermarket pads. The squealer tab should be the inboard pad because that one wears faster than the outboard. It wont hurt anything though.

Looks fine. Do they seem to perform well? If so, do not worry about it.

Thanks for the replies, guys. When I bought the car, a receipt came with it from this shop from when they replaced all the brake pads and rotors before I bought it.

I just needed new rear pads now, and have never had any brake issues since I bought the car, so figured I'd take it back to the same shop. I knew they would be aftermarket pads, but the last set from them performed well, so I don't mind.

The car seems to be braking fine with no issues.....the setup just looked a little different to me and I just wanted to make sure since this is the first time I've personally dealt with this shop. Again....probably just me being a little paranoid.

Thanks again for your help.

Looks fine, but you should have had them resurface the rotors

+1 on the rotor resurfacing...they look a little rough. If you are putting on new pads, checking the rotors for wear is always prudent.
