2006 Lexus GS300 AWD, My driver side low beam HID turns off at night while driving. Both lights come on, then after driving for about a few mins, the driver side low beam hid will go out. Then, if I quickly turn the lights off, and back on, it comes back on and stays on for another few mins. Repeat. Sometimes it will eventually stay on for the rest of the trip. Any ideas? Before I shell out 1200$ for a new driverside headlight just seeing if anyone else had a similar issue etc.

 

I would try replacing the bulb first. Same thing was going on with my car when I bought it and new bulbs fixed it

 

Its the bulb. Its been asked many times.

 

You can also swap the bulbs, left-to-right. If the problem follows the bulb, you've got your answer.

 

I just purchased a 2006 gs300.. And notice when I'm driving both my headlights do the same. Do y'all think it's the bulbs or could it be something else

 

Just wondering what exactly I needed to buy to fix this.. A headlight or something else
