Hello everyone...


Can anyone in this forum tell me if the RX wooden shift **** fit my 2007 GS 350???

 

Usually the gated shifters are the same screw on application for a shifter. I would imagine it would fit, but there's only one way to know for sure....try it out lol. SInce it's within the same auto manufacturuers product line, I would assume they used the same parts to keeps costs lower when adding these applications to their cars, and just switching up the appearance of the **** itself.

 

Most likely but why would you? They are taller and would most likely look weird

The IS LS ES are the same design with different trim

 

The stock shifter has this leather wrapping ..never liked it since day one...wanted an all wood ..

 

Its a good question I was just looking at the wifes shift **** in her RX yesterday and it looks great compared to the GS one. I will test it out in the next couple days. I'm sure it fits but it might look silly.

I put an ISF Japan red shift **** and it fit my 07 GS350. Do you have a picture of the RX *** ? More or less I think all the shift ***** fit around the same year models. The shift ***** unscrew off easy. I believe the thread size is 8mm

Hey ReyRey, any chance you have photos installed? What interior do you have? Saw that **** as well and was interested, but didnt think it would look too good with my interior

 

I changed mine to black leather and chrome, got tired of the wood look.

 

I have black leather and dark red wood. My exterior color is Matador Red. The shift *** is "pure" Red. It does't look bad since I have a red car and the Red TRD push start button. If it really bothered you , I don't see why you could't buy dark red leather stain , and stain it the color you want to match.

 

I have a 2007 GS and my wife has a 2007 RX. The **** spins on, but needs a longer shaft as its not even tightened all the way and it starts to push down on the plastic that slides back and forth when selecting gears. And the colour difference between the lighter RX wood and the darker cherry wood on the GS is terrible.

I happily put the stock **** back on. lol

The only way it could work is if you took the metal piece off the bottom of the RX ****.
