Default Trunk Carpet doesn't fit?

Does anyone else have the problem with their trunk carpet not fitting well around the trunk opening?
Mine doesn't sit under the gasket, or even around the gasket for that matter...almost like it has started sagging over time. Am I the only one?

mine was like this too. i thought it might be because it got bent while being repaired after getting rear-ended (happened before i took ownership).

Are you talking along the top opening of the trunk? Mine is like that too, you can pretty much see the white clip that would hold it in place. If so, mine is like that too. Mine hasn't been in any accidents that i know of.

I just checked mine , and unfortunately I have the same. But since I've had a lot of suspension work , I guess over time the clips might get broken or bent...

Mine is pretty bad...every time I open the trunk I just stare at it.

i took a heat gun to mine and bent the clips closer together. it helps a lot to keep it from sagging. just try not to overheat the clip too much or it will become brittle. you just need to heat it up enough to where you can mold it.
