So who is the go to vendor for these items? I haven't noticed it while I'm driving, but I have noticed that when the headlights are in the courtesy mode after I lock the doors at night the passenger side headlight has been off several times. I've only driven the vehicle at night a few times so I'm sure it will happen when I'm driving as well. Thanks in advance.

It comes down to personal preference. I always use the retrofit source for bulbs. Others may suggest Xenon depot. As far as your courtesy light, are you talking about the HID, parking light (small bulb) or the running/high beams?

I'm referring to the courtesy light feature which turns the HIDs on at night presumably to illuminate my path. Several times I've pulled into the garage and both lights are on then I've come back into the garage a few seconds later to get something and the passenger HID is off while the driver's is still illuminated. Unless that's a feature that I'm overlooking.

So the only lights that are HID bulbs on your car stock are your headlights. By your sentence about illuminating your path, I'm assuming you mean the LEDs under each mirror that sense the key and turn on when you approach the car. Correct?

Nevermind. I thought it was pretty clear. Every car that I own illuminates the headlights at night after you lock the car to illuminate your path for example from your driveway into the house. My headlights will illuminate and then after 10-15 seconds, the passenger side headlight will turn off while the driver's side remains illuminated.

I don't mean to sound terse, but I've stated the problem several times, in a thread dedicated to headlight issues. It's the headlights I'm having problems with, not the mirror lights or the parking lights or the reverse lights or the high beams. But like I said, nevermind, I confirmed last night that the headlight was also off during driving and I went ahead and ordered a new pair of HIDs from Xenon Depot. Hopefully that takes care of the problem.

It will. I'm sorry I didn't understand which light you were discussing. But I know what you're talking about now and yes, new HIDs will solve that issue.

BTW turns out my original issue came from dying bulbs. Swapped them out and they have been fine since.
