Man Im having the same issue...it was working fine and I accidently ejected it because I was exploring my new 08 ES350! Now it just clicks when I try to insert.... please tell me what you did to fix it??? Let me KNOW!!

 

KelaD, I actually bought on ebay but it was from an RX that is the exact same model except it does NOT have the auto eject. you have to manually do it with a slider. So I installed that to use it and asked the guy I bought it from and he said send me your old one and I'll repair it and send it back. So I did and he repaired it and sent it back. Good dude. Works just like new. I can try and find his contact info for you.

 

So are you saying you had to take the dvd player out and then send the unit to this person? How much did he charge you?

 

Oh yah, that DVD has to come out if it's bad. But he sent me a the one from the RX to tide me over until I sent him my original one and he fixed it and sent it back. I traded him some stuff so no idea about cost but if you go on ebay or Craig's list, look for 86421-33040. That's the model you need. It ranges from 150-350. Or you can try a salvage yard.

 

Thanks for the info. I have to figure out how to get the damn dvd player out. Mine is right under the screen. The disk is out I just cant get it to take it again. It just makes that stupid noise. Thanks for all your info.
