Default Replacing front door speakers help

Happy Thanksgiving Club Lexus!
I just bought a 06 GS300 and the driver side speaker is blown so i want to replace the 2 front door speakers with some 61/2 polk audio speakers...
my question is if i have to remove the whole door panel for is it possible to just remove the round circular mesh that covers the speaker

You have to take off the panel, that's the only way.
Plus you have to do some research first as I know it will require lots of mechanical and electrical modifications. It might be good in your case but mine is still under factory warranty so any modifications will voide it.
By the way I have a set of focal and could not use them

Thanks brother I was hoping it was just a plug and play like a honda hahaha
I'll just take it to my local stereo shop and have them do it

Do you think the factory amp will be able to power these.

my front speaker (on dash) makes a little noise.
could be a tweeter when above 42 volume.
i have the ML stereo, was considering changing this, but its the whole dash im guessing

Changing the front speakers to aftermarket will mess up the sound you have now, the sub will have way less bass, and it will sound front speaker dominated. I did it with kicker speakers but it doesn't bother me i have a amped 12" added

yeah the aftermarket 61/2 don't require too much watts... on the other hand if i were to replace the factory sub with a high power sub I dont think it would work

you can replace the dash speakers without removing the dash, here is a post of a guy using a credit card to remove the speaker cover
