I have an 06 GS3. The problem I just experienced is kind of strange. I've been dealing with a faulty park assist sensor that goes off on the front left when the car comes to a stop, and haven't had time to fix it just yet. While driving on the freeway in rush hour I turned the park assist off so that I wouldn't have hear it go off when I stopped due to stop and go traffic. Once the traffic started moving again I got up to about 55mph before braking again. While under braking I felt binding in the brakes and the car immediately pulled to the left. I released the brake and coasted a bit and the car still pulled car hard left almost as if I had a flat tire. I pulled over to the shoulder and lightly applied the brakes. After checked everything out there was no flat but there was a lot of heat on the front left brake. I checked the tire pressure and it went up from 40lbs a few days ago to 65lbs. I checked the heat coming of the other brakes and tire pressures but all was fine. I lowered the pressure in the front left to equalize it with the rest and waiting a few minutes for everything to cool off (it was 45 degrees outside). I drove the rest of the way home on services streets with no issues. I got it up to 55mph just to see if the car pulled to the left again and it was fine. No binding either. I did see any issues when I got home. The fluid is fine and their plenty of pad left. Anyone have any ideas???

 

May want to bleed the brakes and/or rebuild the front left caliper (square seals) sounds like its dragging, either the seal is not retracting the pad back or brake lines clogging up not releasing pressure from the caliper.

Looks like you were right friend. Just took the front left off and the piston isn't retracting. I should be able to slightly move the pad a little but is pressed snug enough against the disk to where it's hard to spin the wheel. The other side is engaged also but not as firm as the left. It's easier to spin that wheel.

It's at the dealership now. Sad because the car only has 44k on it, but a friend of mine is a service rep and is looking out for me.

 

Everything was fixed without any major issues. Turns out the line was clogged. Simple flush is all that was needed. Brakes feel great now.
