driver side shim issue

Default driver side shim issue

just resface my rotors ane realzied that only one shim is on it, aint they supposed to have to onc to the pads and the other to piston? Will this be an big issue? If so probably use a new set of pads which comes with shims and just keep the pads for back up. any recommerdation. million thx guys

Should order a new set from sewell or pick them up from local dealer. Million thx

I personally always replace shims because they rust, etc. You can use the ones that came with your new pads or get OEM ones, but some have found that to not be ideal in some cases. i have used the EOM and akebono shims with no issues. i would just get a shim kit and deal with it. For what you will pay in shipping from Sewell for the one item, you could just buy locally at retail if that is all you need..
