Trying to find out why the display changes to Trip Information on the screen every time I start my car or re-enter the car when it's running. I usually have the screen on Audio but it changes to Trip Information with MPG, Distance until empty, etc.

How do I change the the screen from not displaying this information when I start or enter the car?

 

That's the 'main screen' for Non-Nav equipped models, similar to how the map screen is the 'main screen' for Nav equipped models. I don't think there's much, if anything you can really do about it.

 

I have a '08 GS460 with Navi. When I started the car before it used to go right to maps. Now I think something changed.

 

You have to go into settings and change "Auto Change Screen" to off then hit save.

Yes, that would keep whichever screen you want (audio, climate, trip info, etc) on instead of reverting to the map/ navi screen.
