LOL, Gunny you posted a thread talking about those sick on overlays which look like crap. They were the business in the 80's but technology has changed to what Kazuto posted. What you are looking at is a carbon fiber wrap.

I had all my wood done by FX Auto. The guy I dealt with, his name is Chris. I am VERY happy with the quality and service (very professional). They are a vendor on here. They have a custom carbon thread

I have a fair amount of carbon fiber on my car. But I have some over lay pieces for like the doors and stuff. I personally wouldn't wrap it.
