What do you guys think is the easiest color car to keep clean or what color car doesn't show dirt as easy?? Going from a silver car to a black one has me stoping by the car wash very often now.

It's a full time job keeping my BSP looking decent. Living in the desert makes it even harder. I'd love to go back in time and purchase a silver GS instead.

My vote is for silver.

One of the reasons I refused to consider a new GS is because they discontinued offering smoky granite mica.
That said (and also living in the desert), I simply use the California Duster a couple times a week - and the smaller version inside - and the car looks good sometimes for months. Then it rains...

My old car was "gold" (metallic beige), that did not look dirty unless it had dark mud piled onto it...
My current Lexus is "smoky granite grey", it shows salt dirt a bit, other dirt not so much
My wife's car is white... that gets so dirty... so easily... never mind the constant brake/rail dust rusting up on the clear coat...

Of all the "shades", White is the worst (if you have a white car, be ready to be claybaring it at least once a year), dark black is the second, then we move into the various shades/greys.... Just pick one that matches the color of most dirt in your area (be it mud/salt/dust/sand/etc...)

There's quite a few colors that don't show it's dirtiness very easy....

My vote goes for silver, gunmetal, gold, red, color with distinct pearls in them IMO.

Any flatter colors like white and black IMO gives off a lot of dust. But like blue00 said, it's all dependent with your area. My silver shows white dust/water marks ALL the time from rain and etc.... I hate it but it is what it is .

I wash my car maybe once a week or two too.

I had a 06 gs430 called cypress pearl metallic, it hides dirt pretty well, even lol, I generally dislike tan color interiors, I thought it match very well with the exterior color.

My least favorite colors stay looking clean the longest - silver, white, beige.
My favorite - black - is dirty an hour after a detail. I hate it but I love it LOL

I detail cars for a living, and have owned my own business for 24 years. by far the easiest colors to keep looking nice are light colors. the absolute hardest is black, BY FAR, and dark colors in general. Light colors reflect heat, slowing the oxidation/aging process. they are also similar in shade to dust, which helps them look "clean" longer. Dark colors absorb heat, even to the point of being scalding to the touch in direct sunlight. needless to say, they age/oxidize faster. Dark colors also make it nearly impossible to hide dust, making even freshly washed cars look dusty/dirty a lot sooner. Dark colors also show every blemish, scratch, nick or scrape mercilessly. Having said all that, ALL colors need regular washing/waxing, and paint care in order to protect them, and keep them looking "young." all of this is easier with lighter colors however.
