I had the same problem with my gs where the AFS light was blinking. Short story, took it to the dealership and they wanted $850 to replace the problem. I guess you have to pay to play with Lexus.
I've been having the same problem on and off for the past few months. Usually it will calibrate/auto level correctly the following night I noticed it, but now it's been 3 days straight and the issue has still be occurring. The AFS light is not on.
How did you guys narrow it down if it was a motor problem or simply just recalibration fix?
Okay, so it's clear that my driver side auto level is not working (stuck at the lowest position). Does anyone know if I manually adjust the level that it would work? Thanks in advance.

That is exactly what mine did, I adjusted to my liking and it has stayed there. It does not autolevel when the car starts. Right side does.
I had the the same issue with my AFS and thankfully the dealership fixed it under warranty. I believe the bill was $1500 for replace the driver side assembly.
Interesting.... Idk if mines works or not. I tried adjusting my headlights a couple of nights ago because the left one looks out of adjustment. I used a 8in #2 screw and it was touching the gear perfect and moving. but notihng was going left, right,up, or down.....
