Default Electric box under intake in engine bay

On the left side of the engine bay towards the bottom, under the intake kind of in between the engine and fan there is a black box with wires running to it. What is this box. Mine has some sort of short and I can't get to it because it is dark. Sorry for the weird description but trying to explain the best I can. Thanks

Looks like it clicks into a harness on the wheel well then runs up next to battery

Poke around on http://lexus.sewellparts.com/ under your car model and year, should be able to find it eventually.

So I've been having an issue with my battery dying. It turns out the relays in this box (BLOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY, ABS RELAY) are burnt to a crisp. It wasen't clipped to where it was supposed to be and was dangling. I guess from dangling water got into it and burnt up the relays. Because it was saturated with water. My question is would these relays being burnt trigger dummy lights and no power steering?

Have you checked the P/S relay?

Ended up being a box that holds the abs relay. Somehow came of the mount and was dangling. Ended up getting water in it and shorting out which burnt some of the wires on the main harness. Lexus was able to fix it without replacing the harness and I will be picking the car up tomorrow. What a headache this whole thing was but hopefully when I get the car back I will be back in business. Thanks for the replies on a few of the threads I had.
