I have the beatsonic kit for both nav and dvd override. given the cost of replacing the headunit, I felt spending 200 bucks to buy the kit was well worth the investment. it works great, thought the buttons are not small or attractive. I drilled holes in my ash tray slot (after removing the actual ashtray) and mounted there. overall, I would recommend it. the kit for the 06 gs also works for the 08 ls, which is nice.

dont cut the wires, spend the little extra money so its easier to return to stock if you ever want to sell it. i had the PS kit and i loved it. no time outs or anything.

DVD go in the changer, not the Nav disc slot. Should be playable in Park with parking brake set.

looks like the BeatSonic kit is a disaster with them ugly buttons and i would have to cut some wires
so it looks like ill go with prestigous society kit for a clean install

I went with the PS kit as well. No issues or problems with the install. IMHO, well worth the extra money to have better cosmetic integration.

i have not idea how long it took to ship. i ordered mine like 4 years ago.

install took about 30 mins and it was my first time taking my radio/unit out. very simple install though.
