I tried to find a way to make a new update CD but I had no luck.
I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy the latest update CD for my car.
I have a 2007 lexus GS 350.
I got the car a month ago and it can not find 95% of the addresses I tried. It will just tell me that the house number does not exist on the street.
It looks like the nav hasn't been updated in years.
I would go to lexus to get it done but they charge OUTRAGEOUS prices.
I will NOT pay $200 for a CD, for that much I could get a high end GPS with lifetime updates.

EDIT: This is the latest update CD for my car that I need PT219-GEN05-12 It is a Fifth generation CD.

 

I dont know the latest nav cd that is out but you need to stick with a 5th gen cd as thats what your navi is. there do updates every year but like you said, i always refused to pay $200. im sure if you create an account of sewells site you can get it for a bit cheaper as they offer discounts to CL members

Make sure you wait to order the DVD for a couple of weeks. 13.1 is supposed to be released soon. No point in buying 12.1 now.

So 2007 GS350 is the Gen5 navigation... i'll be ordering that new update soon too! What are the different generation navis for which years?
