Default instrument drop down panel.

Just wondering if anyone else has buttons on their drop-down instrumental panel that are there but not equipped with their car?

For example, I have the "AFS Off" button on my drop-down instrumental panel, but when I took it to the dealer they said my specific vehicle did not come with the AFS (adaptive front lighting) system. I was very-very disappointed, why even have the button there? -_-

hmmm i wonder since I have the AFS button, if I installed the system will it then just work? Reason why I asked is because I have installed the factory power sunshade from another 3rd GEN GS, hooked it up to the relay that was already on the chassis, the fuse for the sunshade is there but still can't get it to work. My car originally did not come with a power sunshade. I think the reason why it does not work is because my drop-down instrumental panel is missing the button for the power sunshade. When I push the button where it is suppose to be at it does nothing. What do you guys think?

AFS is Adaptive Front-lighting System, Not Adaptive Front Steering. This is when the headlights turn side to side while turning.

i'll be honest, I thought ALL GS's came with these options standard, including the AFS and the Rear sunshade.

To put it frankly, If there is no picture of the rear curtain drop-down, the instrument panel needs to be changed out, it's just an empty plastic button with a rubber underneath that u can click around. You can feel it on the other buttons inside that panel too.

Don't you mean... concealed 007 super-spy instrument panel?

yeah, so if i changed the instrument panel, to one with the power sunshade (like slimledd's picture above) it might just work?

If you have tan interior you have to be careful when pulling the seat cushions out. You also have to know what interior clips to remove. I had to pull the top interior trunk panel down and cut a hole for the sunshade. It is still not functioning (left open at all times) and I believe it is because I do not have the Power Sunshade button that switches to open and close. 1 day when I ever have the money to blow I will buy one. And repost if there is success.
