very strange, glad it worked though! Let's hope it stays that way

It could have been a loose connection for all we know, and the expansion and shrinkage gave it the kick it needed

Ok is it me ! Can some tell me what the actual repair/fix is as it tells you what to take apart but does not tell you the actual part to repair or does it and I just need to bang my head against the nearest wall !

My trunk motor works, but doesn't respond to the button under the trunk lid. How hard is that to replace?

Battery Disconnect/Reconnect worked for me
My trunk opener was inoperative. Fixed it by disconnecting main battery terminal, waiting 30 seconds and then reconnecting terminal.
