Default LED Cupholder lights

I found this guy through my offroad forum and decided to get a pair of cupholder discs for the wifes lexus to see how I liked em. These things are pretty cool at night and illuminate water bottles. It was $105 for the pair but he gave me $20 off for pictures and a review so I couldnt turn that down lol. Anyways I just drilled a small hole and tapped into the cig lighter light so they come on when the lights are on. Im not sure if I am allowed to say where I got them since I dont think they are a sponsor but its www.beanledindustries.com if Im not allowed to put that here let me know and Ill delete it. Let me know what you think-

looks neat. but I see myself damaging the cupholder lights or scratching it. As my phone, accuair remote, keys, and actual cups sit in there. Mind sharing how you hooked up the LED for the cupholder? I'm wondering how you routed the ways.

Beneath the cup holder separator I drilled a hole and routed the wires that way. The logos are actually etched in reverse so that the etched portion is facing the plastic leaving the unetched side of the acrylic to cups, phone, etc. there is one tiny led installed in the disc and it lights up your water bottles, etc.

very neat mod! I still don't think it's a mod for me though, especially with perspiration from the cups coming into the holder area lol....

As for the plates, have you considered getting them resized? They actually look a little off.

the sizes are about as large as you can get since the led goes under that divider.

That looks real cool, I would have used white vs blue but it's still a great install.

Ahhh, I gotcha! I was looking to do a similar mod, cept it would just have been a strip of LEDs instead of the whole plate. Unfortunately I did not want to drill holes

I like it, but probably would have left it to just the small "L" logo.
I see more and more car companies doing something like this.
