Default GS350 Alignment

Need some valid input on the GS350 regarding alignment. I recently swapped out the rims and tires on my car and wanted to see if I should do alignment as well. I was told that there were only Toe setting's on the GS that can be adjusted.

The steering wheel doesn't shake at any speeds, car doesn't pull one way or the other, steering wheel is also aligned straight.

With that, do you think i should do alignment? Can you explain why alignment would be required too?

Thanks!

shouldnt need an alignment just swapping out wheels and tires. Now unless you saw some uneven wear then yea would need an alignment

There was uneven wear on the inside of the tire on all 4 tires, I know that's the camber issue I have. I read on a thread here that if you lower with NF210's that you wouldn't have camber issues, Wrong.

Depends on a lot of things! Mainly how experienced your alginment guy is. You shouldn't have uneven wear problems on your tires. Even if you are lowered there are option to give you further adjustments.

If you are eating the insides of the tires, you may have your toe adjustment off, and if that is off you will chew up a set of tires really quick.

Even at factory height, my 08 GS350 awd needed rear chamber adjusters because my toe was out in the rear. The SPC bars cured my problem.

My dealer just told me by 2010 GS350 has lateral tire wear and is the cause of the road noise I have experience.
Do you guys think using Firestone or Pep Boys for my alignment is ok (I had the dealer costs) - I am in the market for some tires, also…costco/michelline vs. bridgestone?

Problem is you can adjust just the toe but it throw off all the other adjustments. Main problem on GS's is no rear chamber adjustments without buying aftermarket adjusters.

It's fine to go to firestone or pep boys to align, just make sure they have the latest hunter alignment rack, if not I wouldn't take it to them.

Getting my NF210's on next week. So, get the camber kit and alignment, adjust the toe and I'm good to go?

Install the springs, take it to a good alignment shop with the latest hunter rack. If needed buy the rear chamber bars, no sense in throwing $180 bucks if its not needed. I would see if they have atleast a 1 year plan for alignments that way you can take it to them for free alignments in that year.

Talk with the alignment guy, it took me 3 alignments to get my car aligned right.
