Default couple of teaser pics after paint/mods

Most of the mods are in my signature below. iPhone photos...so not the best.

Love it or hate it, let me know CL.

Reminds me of your 2GS you use to have. Looks sporty but that black around the headlights I think it's overkill, probably would've looked better color matched to the silver.

I like it!

However, I have an observation. Your front end doesn't look like it's an '08.

If you have a dark color tone it'd look perfect but not silver.

Did you end up painting your lower grill too to match the top one? Looks glossy..everything looks good except I think you should make your headlight trim silver as well.

thanks for all of the comments CL......people either love or hate the black headlight trim. Its one of my favorite parts of the car. To each his own. Its hard to tell, but those are Fabulous eyelines on there as well.

I think it looks alot better in-person. When looking from the side of the car, the black headlight trim matches all of the black pieces on the car.....fender mesh, side mirrors, door handles, lower door pieces, wheels, etc. Again, I de-chromed the entire car. Even the side mirror chrome pieces were painted.

I did paint the lower grill glossy black. I also painted black, the bumper gap between the actual grill and the grill trim to make things flow better. Its hard to tell in the photo, but I painted the fender slats glossy black as well.

The car below from Japan was the inspiration for the look I wanted. Notice the car has tinted headlights, DRLs and fogs to match the headlight trim. I am tinting the windshield and may do the headlights as well. I know this is setting myself to be pulled over here in CA, but I don't really care. With fix it tixs now, they give you the option to just pay a fine without making changes.

On to the next round of mods. Blackwood or carbon fiber interior pieces and I have to get this Torsen LSD installed. I picked up the IS350 differential already with 4.08 gears. If you haven't installed PPE headers yet, get to it ASAP.

Very nice work. Overall I like it a lot. I do agree however that the headlights look like a raccoon. I think, as a couple have mentioned, that going body color on that would look best. The black looks good against the yellow of the other car, but not on your silver. Still very impressive looking car and if that's your favorite part, all the better for you.
