Help with DVD/Navi hack

Hey guys, I went through the forum and FAQ's, however I'm still not sure if wire cutting hack will work on my 2011 GS350. I want to be able to watch DVD's while I'm driving. Please let me know if this https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...tart-here.html will work. Thanks for your help.

Sorry, this is what I meant, somehow I posted a wrong link. I saw all the posts but I wasn't sure if it would work on 2011. So will this work on my car? Thanks.

It probably would, but what happens if for some reason your Nav unit goes out. Are you willing to shell out $6K to replace it? Because I can guarantee you that Lexus Warranty will not cover anything near cut wires.
