Hey LC fam Im new here ,I jus bought my 06 gs300 without navi . If I buy the rear view cam on eBay will it work on the regular factory screen . I need your help please.

Nope, unless your car comes with the package it will not work.

To my knowledge, one way to couter this is to buy a Vaistech kit, hook up teh rearview camera (Y/W/R composite) into the vaistech kit, and go to town

my buddy helped me add an ebay rear view camera + small monitor in the front on my GX, works like a charm.

 

To an OE type screen that comes on when put in reverse? Pics? Details?

 

no, not the OE type screen, it's like 3.5 inch of additional screen, it small enough not to be distraction. and yes, it comes on when put in reverse.
