Just checked out the 2004 GX470 press release on the lexus web site. We had asked our dealer if the rear backup camera which will be available in the 2004s would be integrateable with the 2003s? He indicated they were looking into this independant company who makes rear backup cameras that can be installed on the 2003s. I guess that meant no......Big bummer! I guess the ones they install would have a little camera by your rear view mirror.....doesn't sound esthetically pleasing to me......I want to see my rear on my navigation screen

gee! I've been counting on getting the '04 backup camera retrofitted in my GX. Knowing how much dealers are up2date with info I wouldn't count on a dealer unless he confirms that he got the info from Lexus.

Any word on the availability of the backup video on the 03's
