Default Wheel circumference difference threshold for AWD

I know for AWD, I should try to get the wheel circumference between the front and back as close as possibile in a staggered set up. What is the threshold difference (percent) I should try to stay under to avoid any issues? Thanks.

it under 3%. for 19in wheel. the best fit is 235-35-19 front 275-30-19 this will be 1.40% Why i said the best is because lots of brand name make this sized tire even cheap brand sell for 90 a tire. 225/40/19 only a couple company make them,is ****ing too much money. and 245/35/19 and 285/30/19 will be great at .38% but too ****ing wide. i have a set of 19in H.R.E and it took me 3 months to understand this ****! its ok to be 3% because it not all time awd. its 70% rear and 30% front. look at the spare tire it come with, a lot smaller right?

and 225/40/19 is .89% 255/35/19 is .66% which is very close to stock % but the two sized itself is to fall apart at .89%- .66% is .23%. 235/35/19 is 1.48% 275/30/19 is 1.40% it .08% apart. we have to worry getting close to stock size and the 2 tire cant be to fall apart. this is crazy

Thanks so much for this great information. This is the information I was after as I am in the process of choosing my 19" wheels, but was not sure whether to go with the safe route (square set) or staggered.
