DRL - daylight/daytime running lights is what you're referring to, as the one above has had done.
Plenty of DRL type units on eBay of various numbers and length/shape.

That picture you posted is exactly what i want to do! Looks beautiful.
Also i had a question i think you might know.
Is it possible to turn the cars lights on when you open the door?
Like when you reach to open the door as in when the door unlocks the headlights turn on?

Anything is possible, but it's more a question of why you'd want such a feature.
Bit pointless really, as you're getting into the car, and will be starting it up.
If not, then the extra draw on the battery will reduce the power available to start the engine.
You could rig the DRL LEDs you're thinking of installing to switch on with the courtesy lights, but then they'd be off when the lights go off as you start the engine, and would only be on at a dimmed level once you turn the headlights on.
I'm sure you could get round that, but it's all starting to get complicated and messy.

Do-able. Lights on as soon as you open the door is available on some honda's and whatnot. What you might be able to get away with if you REALLY REALLY want that feature really bad. Is run a remote switch with a relay kit to your O.E. HID kit, You can probably wire it like boron said below with the interior lights. using the interior lights as a "on/off" switch, and your power draw will come directly from the battery. With this you can wire up a "remote" switch inbetween the interior lighting and your relay kit, therefore having the ability to shut off the lights when you want to. I'm unsure if you'd want to get that involved with the car however.... as this might involve splicing wires and the etc. I can run a whole schematics on a "paint drawn" diagram and all you'd have to do is follow instructions if you're interested. FYI: I've never done this, i just know how these things work inside of my head lol.

You're right, complicated and messy is right on the dot, but it's definitely do-able You can wire it to the courtesy lights like, for example the courtesy lights under your feet. It will still trigger the "on" mode while driving and it'll stay on. Don't forget that 2 leads, say one from the foglight and one from the courtesy lights will still be 12v no matter how u put it. So while one shuts off, the other can turn on.

yeah, I would lol..... Splicing IMO is a big no-no when involving O.E. stuff
