Default Disconnecting the Battery

Hello Ladies and Gents,
I wanted to clean the battery terminals on my wife's GS 460. Just wanted to check with everyone to make sure there wasn't any weird pre-caution I should take prior to disconnecting the battery or if there was some special procedure that I should follow.

Thanks,

Yeah, don't try and put your tongue between the terminals!
Disconnect the positive wire first, then the negative.
Reconnect in reverse order - negative then positive.
Wear gloves - if you don't, then don't touch any bodywork/metal on the car, creating a pathway across your chest.
