Foggy in front windshield, only in the middle
Hey guys,
I noticed that my windshield would get foggy in the center and my front windshielf defoster doesn't seem to get rid of it. The only way i can get rid of it is when i use my windshield wipers to wipe it off, so it's outside of the windshield that gets fogged up. Also, i know that air is coming out of the two center vents towards the windshield. When i turn on the defroster, A/C is on,which i know should have helped get rid of the fog but it doesn't. Anyone else have this problem?

You mean condensation from the AC being on?
Switch the airflow to the upper vents - that'll keep you cool and alert, and reduce the temperature differential the windscreen sees, so no more condensation on the screen.

Oh, i thought AC would have to be on instead of just air, towards the windshield. I'll give it another try once it gets cold around here. Thanks for the help guys!

When it gets cold?
What temperature have you the AC set at?
The Lo setting is to cool the air, reducing the interior's temperature.
If you've the windscreen setting on, that's why you're getting the condensation forming.
Change the output to the vents above the Nav screen and the ones either side, you'll not get condensation forming on the screen, but you will get the cool air to keep you from sweating, etc.
Vary the fan speed for effect, and direction of vents if you do or don't want the cold air on your face.

Is no one using the auto feature?
I love it. Always used it all my cars and it works great in this car too. I usually have it at 70 all year long .
Only time it didn't work well is last week when it was 106 and I had to lower the fan speed to medium to make the air a bit cooler.
Also set the sensitivity of pollution filter to high and the system auto changes the air input a lot better.
