Default k&n intake oil

so everyone talks about the negatives with the oil on the K&N filters. Was wondering if you could run the K&N without oil? What would happen? I'd imagine nothing because its still a filter, maybe just not filter as good as with oil?

Correct, just not as effective since the particles will not stick to the filter fibers.
