Hi,

I'm thinking of selling the Lex. : (

Thailand is a 'under-developed' or should i say a 'developing' country. And driving a lowered sports saloon on roads filled with potholes, and i don't mean small ones. So i might be looking for a SUV instead.

The Hummer H3 for you guys (Local US) might sound a bit lame. But over here, it is quite rare. But so is the GS. The roads over here are filled with Honda Fits, Accords, Camrys and small-sized pick up trucks. And Mercs.

But the LX470 is also quite another interesting choice. But apparently, MPG is ridiculous! For me the RX is a bit on the small side.

If money wasn't the issue, the ultimate choice would be the Merc G55 AMG. But hey, 11 million baht is not cheap. Equivalent to 360,065.48 USD!!!

Any suggestions?

Cheers.

I loved Thailand when I visited. But yes, the roads were pretty bad. Even when we road in the tuk-tuk(sp) they bounced around like crazy.

Ya I say keep it and raise it to stock height, if not than the GX 460 isnt a bad choice.

Sawatdee kaa!

How are fuel prices over there? Because the Hummer is a gas guzzler!

I've had an H3 for 7 years now, I'm very hapy with it! It's durable and easy to drive off road!

The lx loves gas! Buts it's so nice and damn reliable. Kinda hard on brakes too since it is heavy. Why not a limited 5th gen 4runner or a gx? We have a 2011 limited 4runner and love it! I would say gx if you could but that stupid rear door bugs the day lights out of me.

This is really nice car in Thai. Bummer u sell your GS350. Are you getting a SUV?
Yea the roads were worst. Even in WA also too many potholes. So, my gf she has Honda Civic in Thai. BKK and Ubon R. She was not let me drive her car in BKK due to traffic and crazy. I used to drive on my dad's SUV and rental SUV in Phuket.
