Default Philips Utilnon 6000k Ya Ya I know!

Ok I know everyone will say search, but I need to see what the output is as nobody has taken a pic of it on a dark road or on a road. Can someone please do this as I'm having difficulty poneying up $250 for the lights if I'm gonna have no gain in the distance I see. If I have a pic of this I can make a better decison and buy it. Thanks in advance! I want to make sure if I need them or not, as that money can go towards the numerous mods I have planned for March.

I don't believe your going to gain any distance if anything you'll loose some. It's just a color ordeal. My 6k's are dimmer than my friends stock lights but I also do not know what brand my are. Came with the car. They aren't terrible. The only reason I don't liked mine is the color drives me crazy. But that's a personally thing.

gain?! anything outside of 4100-4300k and you are losing overall usable light output

as everyone said, I have a set myself and I just like the color output of the Ultinon over any other brand in 6000k. Best choice is you could go for Ultionon 5000k and you would not lose that much light output over stock.

Stay with stock bulbs, you are not gonna gain in visibility only decrease it.

If u have 5k fogs I say its ok to make the jump, cuz this matches my 5k fogs. The color looks sick..white w a hint of blue..not ricey at all...high class lux style. Less visability though..but I still have great output w my fogs on

My Ultinon for my GS just shipped. But based on my previous experience with the Ultinon, you will not disaapoint. Even though the lumen is lower on the 6000K compare to the 4300K, the color is pure white. Therefore, it appears brighter to the eyes.
I love the Ultinon so much that I need to replace the stock 4300K with it after 2 weeks of purchasing the vehicle.

a 6000k bulb will produce less lumens of light than a 4300k bulb of the same wattage
