+1 same here. in fact, the tape can produce fairly good sound quality if you use a good tape deck to record the music.
I was amazed. I found my old tape-ipod adapter that I used in my 73 Lincoln mark IV. and it works great. sound quality is not bad at all.
I stream music from Pandora, listen to ipod, or iphone. I really didnt want to take apart the dash and spend hundreds on those ipod integrating units. Its just not that important to me. Tape made it happen !!!!
