Default good will warranty question

I have having a problem with my ML dvd player and i was offered 50/50, where the dealership and myself pay half of the cost. Is there any other way? i have 06 gs300 under 41k miles.

wow so much misinformation. lexus warranty is 4yrs/50k. your over the 4yrs hence why it would not be covered.

goodwill warranty is only on parts that have been replaced. they carry a 1yr/12k warranty.

Yep what he said ^ Goodwill can also be used by the dealer to help a owner on cost. But it happens rarely! pretty sure thats the best the dealer will do.

thanks guys. I guess I was expecting good will experience i received from Infiniti where the replaced my navigation and the cd changer for free. I received a quote of $700 for replacing the ML dvd audio player and no attentions to other problems.

maybe you can try another dealership and see. but then again good will is that, good will. they aren't obligated to do anything technically. from my experience, if you bring your car there for services often, they tend to want to help more
