Default Can someone verify this?

I was looking at these rims, it was stated as 18 inch factory rims.

It seems like 17 inch IS300 rims but maybe it's 18 inch GS 2nd G rims.

Any thoughts?

Ok thanks guys. I was looking at craigslist and found these but owner does not know because it was given from someone. He was saying it's 18inch but I didn't think it was because I never seen one.

Will these fit on 3gs? I'm thinking of getting them for winter set up but not too sure. What do you guys think? (I sold my oem gs rims not too long ago and got myself 19 lexion but now kind of want something facotry)

it will probably fit on 06 gs300, but won't fit on any other 3gs because it won't clear the front caliper

I got these today at low cost. Now I'm looking for tires, I believe original size is 235 45 17 but will I have problem if I put 215 45 17 or 225 45 17? I'm looking into buying decent used tires so more options would be good when it comes down to selecting tires.

Any thoughts?

45 series tires for your GS will be really small.. it will throw off your speedometer off by at least 5mph... recommended is 225-50-17.. you can go with a 245-45-17 to balance it out, but the tire won't look right on the wheel...

ok, thanks for the info. But I wonder why 2000 Gs400 OEM tire size is 235 45 17.

doesn't matter, that's a different car. 235/45 and 245/45 have very minimal difference

but going with 215 or 225, that's too narrow and thus why you might want to consider taller sidewall

Still a bit confused. which one would be the best choice?

225 45 17

235 45 17

245 45 17

225 50 17

225 55 17

i don't completely agree. i believe those wheels are 17x8. 225 is a bit on the narrow side for 8.

for the 2 gs, the factory tire sizes are either 225/55/16 or 235/45/17. if you really want to stay with 225, then 50 profile is right. but on a 8" wheel, i like 235 more and 45 is what i'd choose
