Default Need some advice.... (wheel/tire related)

Hey Guys,

I picked up a set of wheels for my sisters 2010 GS350, and I need some help deciding on what tires would be the best for this application.

I have already test fitted the wheels on the car, and they fit without any issues.

what I would like to do, is get the best possible tire package, that offers the least amount of rubbing while also having enough meat on the wheels to protect the rims.

Here are the specs,

Lowenhart LD5

20 X 9 ET 40

20 X 10 ET 44

now I was thinking of running a

245/35/20 in the front

&

275/30/20 in the rear

The car is not lowered and will most probably stay on the oem factory suspension.

I would like to avoid things like cutting the fender or having to roll them.

What do you guys think? whats the best tire setup for these wheels on a GS?

TIA

BTW: I have already read through the wheel sticky and a few dozen posts regarding aftermarket wheels, I just want to make sure I get the correct sizing for her as since I really cant return tires once I have mounted them on the car.

Depends on the offset really, I think 245/35's and 275/30's should be fine!

I'd run 30's and 25's if the offsets were more aggressive.

i run 225/35 and 265/30-20 on my AWD but its lowered on DF210's. Rims are 20x8.5 +40 and 20x10 +40

ideal spec would be 245/30 and 285/25 peple complain about rubbing issues alot when they run the overspec tires if you wanted to run a 35 series should have stuck with 19s

The ones I suggested, those sizes are extremely close in overall diameter and thats what needs to be spot on with the awd.

245/35 is ok to use but more than likely on sharp turns or with the wheel all the way turned, the tire will rub.

This is the first time I see a 9" front and 10" rear! Usually they are 8.5"/10" or 9"/10.5"

I know, these are a old school set, 8.5 would have been better for me but I have to make these 9's work.
