what i did was transfer all my contacts to a old sony ericsson, you can go to your mobile provider to do that... then i used the sony ericsson phone to transfer the contacts. i forgot what model it was, i can look for it.. i bought it from ebay for like $15

I was inches away from getting my contacts over. My son has an old LG EnV so I deleted his contacts and I was going to put all my contacts on the EnV. After deleting his contacts,and getting all my contacts on his account using the VZW website, I tried using Backup Asst on his phone to get my contacts to his phone. I kept getting an error message and it wasn't working,so I Googled the error message. Guess what, those bastards at VZW disabled the use of Backup Asst on all the older phones ! Now my son has no contacts and my plan has come to a screeching halt !
