Almost all 2006 GS300's are plagued with Carbon Buildup Issues! Look at the stickies as theres a huge thread all about it.

Basically only in the US, the dealer will honor and extend warranty (at no charge, no matter mileage) to have your engine pulled and rebuilt. Canadian GS300's are mad because their dealers will not honor the work.

Does your car spudder at idle?

Same here, my GS460 engine has the EFI and still needs injectors cleaned every 6k miles.

I know about the carbon build up. Not a big issue. Nothing a booster small profile cat prior to O2 after the manifold cats cant fix. What does carbon build up and warranty issues have to do with midpipes?

Nothing. I think there was a slight deviation of topic.

I had the same code due to cat's failing. You can easily fix it by installing an O2 delete...essentially a spacer for your O2 sensor. Fixes the problem right away, and you can hold off on getting new cats. Also, since the sensor is still operational, you will still pass emissions.

You need these, with the middle inserts. Essentially the kit comes with three diameter inserts to limit the amount of sampling to the o2. I use mostly the middle insert which worked fine for my S2k as well when i used this setup. Tried what ryan told me on my AWD 3GS moded invidia midpipe and work like a charm! 4 days strong and no CEL
