does anyone have an issue where you receive a phonecall, the number is stored in my phone book in the car, but call display doesnt work?

sometimes i'll receive a call and it shows the caller, however sometimes it wont show anything, ill have to look at my phone to see who's calling before i actually press answer

 

my bt does the same thing. i have to look at my phone prior to answering to see who it is. id rather it just come up on the screen as soon as they call. this is one of several reasons why i keep my bt on my phone turned off.

 

Same thing...sometimes shows the number or caller sometimes doesn't.

 

this is when the car is moving or stopped?

 

Same here, very rarely it shows up. I am using iphone 4g.

Rominl: it doesn't matter does it in both when moving and when not moving.

in my car, when it's moving, i can forget about caller id showing up. it will never show. but if i use my nav override, caller id will show up 100% of the time.

but keep in mind i don't store any numbers in the car, completely insecure. so i can't say anything about name showing up. but caller id that's what i notice

 

What do you mean by nav override?

 

i have the ps override, so i can access all nav menu when driving
