Default Performance Chips

I haven't heard anyone talk about installing performance chips in their GS350's. Is this because they are a complete waste of money or just wanting to leave a quality vehicle alone? More HP and better MPG sound great, but at what cost?

I have a friend who chipped everyone of his VWs and swears by them, I've just had no personal experience with them.... Anyone?

GS 350 has a conventional engine. Chips are generally produced for supercharged / turbocharged engines as far as I know. That's where you can get a bang for your chip upgrade buck.

I haven't seen anyone even try! I have not even come around to testing the Super AFC on my car yet! I doubt it will work!
