Default MediaLinQ Plus - MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU

Hi,
In order to install my brand new Vais tech. MediaLinQ Plus in my 2010 Lexus gs450h, I need to REMOVE MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU.
I search my car inside out:
Behind the main console of the multimedia
I remove the RH trim cover completely - on the bottom there is only the OEM Amplifier . On the upper side there is a yellow box with the label "Toyota Smart key". Nothing else.
I remove the LH trim cover completely - Just the 12V Battery
At the front - the Hybrid Battery.
Nothing on the passenger side ..
Unlike 2010 Lexus RX 350 - it is not at the center of the car (under the rear AC outlet)
See here : http://www.multimedialinq.com/VML_Mo...L-2010-ins.mov

Can you please tell me the exact location in 2010 Lexus gs450h?
Thanks !

the gs install is completely different from rx. for the gs, you need to access the back of the navigation / radio unit where the harnesses is located.

there is diy thread on how to remove the radio unit already

it is there, i have installed tons of them. for the vml, you only have one 12-pin connection, it's at the bottom of the radio unit, the middle plug

i just hope you got the right kit for your car specifically. if you got the kit for another car, it might not work and you might not have the harness

Thank you!
I have the MLP-19 – according to their site – it's for 2010 Lexus Gs450h.
Anyway – there are 3 cables, and as you can see in the diagram – I need to remove it from the MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU. But it is not there….. And according to Vais tech support – this is the reason why the ML+ not working (although I have the programming beeps..)

the picture you show, that's the back of the navigation screen right? how about at the very bottom of the whole assembly you pulled out? that's right behind the radio controls. there should be some plugs there

ah ic, sorry about that, i missed the part that you have a 2010+. it's completely different (i don't think i have worked on a 2010+ yet).

when you talk to vaistech, did they say it's on the right or left side? right side is the amp, i would assume the usb controller is somewhere close by.

and you have a gs450h with no nav at all? that must be rare! but you do have factory usb playback capability i suppose?

Supposed to be on the RH side. But it's not...
The harness from the USB connector going toward the trunk....Can't
Follow it under the rug up to the ECU box.....
I had looked all over the place.. It is no where to be found. See pictures:

this is such a mystery. vaistech can't give you more specific location on where the usb controller is? the bottom left picture you posted shows the amp, if anything i would think it's close to there... did you try to unplug each plug there and see if there is a 12-pin?
