Default Can someone please sticky this?

I spent all day messing around with the Nav hack on my '07 GS350 w/ ML. I read everything over and over before I gave it a shot. It is very simple to take everything apart to get to the back of the unit. The thing that screwed me up were 2 things: the purple wire and the yellow wire that needs to be grounded to watch DVD's while driving. The tutorial says to cut the purple wire, but it fails to tell you there are 2 purple wires on the same plug. Unfortunately for me, I cut the wrong one and nothing worked. I also didn't get a good spot for the ground wire so DVD's weren't playing while I was driving. Can someone PLEASE make a sticky telling people to make sure they cut the right purple wire, which is the one in the corner of the plug next to the red wire and the orange wire. Also, please let people know that the best spot to ground the yellow wire is right on top of the Nav unit. There is a black box that sits on top of the unit and is held down with 2 bolts. Remove the one bolt which is right above the wire harness that has the yellow wire. Ground the wire to that bolt and you will have a great ground. I would have had this whole project done in about 45 minutes had I known those 2 things. Instead, I had to take the whole console apart again, only to realize my 2 mistakes. I also found a good switch to use from Radio Shack. If you remove the blank next to the coin holder, the switch fits in the hole very tight. There is a gap that's left, but if you cut the blank very carefully with a dremel tool, you can get it to fill the hole perfectly and it makes the switch fit even tighter. Here is a link to the switch and a picture of the switch in place:

I didn't really want it stickied as a DIY. I just wanted to inform people to be aware after they read the other DIY for the Nav hack.
