This is not your regular tint. This is some high tech stuff that keeps your car nice and cool.

Need to find someone here in NY who does this.

Is huper optic really worth the extra $$$? buddy of mine told me his car got equally hot from being in the sun when comparing standard and huper optic tint at the same light input. He claims the only way to really get a cooler car is to go darker.

The car will heat up to matter what, u can spray paint the windows black. Huper optic is made to run cooler and block the sun.

you have no idea what huper optik is at all. any of the normal tint here you can get them for 100-150 day in day out. good quality ceramic tint like huper optik, that's another story

that's untrue, go to a shop with huper optik and often they have the comparison box for you.

first of all, color doesn't have much to do with blocking heat. comparing two similar dyed tint, one 50% and one limo, both will just allow about the same amount of heat passing through.

huper optik is huge difference compared to dyed tint, i know it first hand because i had normal tint on my gs400 and sc430, and then moved to huper optik on my ls460l and gs350, and now i have normal dyed tint on my m3. when i drive my m3, heat is from everywhere, front and sides. but when i am driving my gs, my sides are noticeably cooler. why do i know? because i don't have hupe optik on the front windshield and i can feel the heat coming from the front. in my m3 (tint on side nothing in the front), heat is the same everywhere

I drive with my windows down its pretty cool though to have when your parked. I think I will definitely get these tints for my car. Would this be considered a mod? haha

got mine done by Tom Kovach. his shop's name is The Art of Tint. i highly recommend him. he's a really nice guy and answered all of my annoying questions. i don't know where in NY you are but he works in manhattan.

i'm not knocking on Tom but after getting my huper optiks i don't feel like the car is any cooler when i come back to it after work. anyone know if the tint can accidentally be applied backwards so it doesn't reflect heat? maybe it could also be that my car is a dark color but when i'm driving, i don't feel any warmth from the tinted windows so i guess it does work? i hold my hand up to the windshield which isn't tinted and can feel warmth there.

I think I paid in the upper 300s for my Huper Optik in Houston. I love this stuff. It really does block a ton of radiant heat!!
