Default Oil Question

TO ADMIN: THIS IS NOT A LINK FOR ADVERTISING .. IT'S SIMPLY A QUESTION!!

My mechanic told me to use this oil...
http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/asl.aspx?zo=1973595

I have never heard of it or no nothing about it!! But he told me that it was the best synthetic on the market!? Do you guys use this in your car? Just wondering if I'm behind in times with oil.

If the link doesn't highlight you might have to copy and paste.. Not real sure on how to add a link.

Thanks for any input..

Just seems like a non-smooth way of advertising. I'm good with mobil 1 though.

My mechanic told me that is the worst oil to put in your car, that after a few thousand miles it will literally disintegrate your flux capacitor leaving you stranded and unable to get back to the future.

I don't need to sell OIL.. I have a real job.
I didn't think a bunch of immature responses would come of a simple question.
Guess you two are the ones driving mommies car..

^ what make them the oil professional? LOL

anyway, mobil 1 is more well known so I stick with that. If I have the $ and care more for my car I would use Purple Royal.

i think if you upgrade your car with the Mr. Fusion then you can use that oil and still get back to the future.

I've seen a couple of people swear by Amsoil. They make good ATF fluid and makes the tranny shift like butter. But I still prefer Mobil1 for motor oil.

Your second post in the forum and your 'handle' is BUYNOW.

I think suspicion is warranted.

Amsoil has been around for 30 some years, and I used it in a BMW in the early 80's. If it were all that bad it would not still be on the market.
