Thanks to 3GS Forum
I wanted to make a last post to thank everyone on this board for three years of good advice. I have traded the GS on a slightly larger ride, a 2008 S-8. This board gets some credit for that since I would not have considered such an enthusiast car if not for the example set by the enthusiasts here. And having trolled the Audi forums for a few months I can tell you that they don't compare to what you have here, so don't take it for granted. Good luck and thanks again.

I thought it would be bad form in my OP to show the new car, but since a couple of people asked, here it is. Fittingly, it's on CL before AudiWorld!
That color is called Daytona Gray, the major option is the Bang+Olufsen audio (Audi's version of ML). Mods so far are 35% tint and summer Continental Extreme Contact DWs, 265/35/20 (those are the stock rims). It came with 29k miles from an auction in Santa Monica - so it will get its first set of winter shoes this fall. On the plus side, it's a little bigger (OK, trunk is a lot bigger), super luxurious, and the V10 growls when you get on it. On the other hand, in two weeks I have spent $170 on gas. And yes, after that great touch-screen in the GS, the old school nav and tech is not as easy to use. Life is all trade-offs, right? And some used car buyer is going to get a great Matador Red GS soon. See you on the road!
